sunset ver1 by Pontiff-of-Zargos sunset ver1 by Pontiff-of-Zargos
This was another peice I did around the same time as the coffee one. When I would spend ours at the coffee shop drawing the people there. This was from a sketch of a girl studying something. I wanted to get that rich dappled effect of a late sun when everythingis deep orange and looks like it's smouldering.

That's amazing. It makes me think she got out before the sun rose (and now its just getting up) and she is still in that state of not being affected much by outside energies.

That's gorgeous...makes my think of a Queens student studying for the exams, at one of the most popular/artsy cafés in my town...hehehe, it even looks like the place.
You most certainly got the desired effect!

Excellent work. I love the evocative emotions this picture brings out. And very nice work on the sun effect; it makes me want to go outside and bask in the sunset for some reason! :O Great job on this piece!

Yeah, that's very much what my life is like most of the time. Long hours at the coffee shoip with a cup of tea sitting there and drawing till my hands cramp up... it's a great life it really is.

This reminds me of the long hours I spend at my desk sometimes hunched over for many hours.

It's nice to see this, because your caption says you do the same thing pretty much, so it's like we can relate and stuff. :aww:

I notice the clock too. heh. I turn my clock around and try not to look at the time, cause I get frustrated that teh hours go by so fast and I only get so much stuff done, and then start messing up if I get panicky... yeah.. sorry to ramble like this, I just really like this pic because it has so many things that remind me of every day life for an artist. ^^;
